Elnur electric night storage heaters are the ideal heating solution for many homes. They are particularly cost effective. By storing heat at the cheapest tariff, usually at night, they can save a huge percentage of your electricity bill and heat your home for 24 hours a day at an unbeatable cost.
Elnur electric storage heaters have controls that allow you to vary how much heat they store and release, depending on the time of the year and temperature needed. They also have a device to allow you to control how quickly they release their stored heat. Besides this, Elnur night storage heaters come equipped with a security device to prevent overheating if the grilles are accidentally covered by clothes or any other objects.
Despite the Elnur brand not being as well known in the UK as the makes Dimplex & Creda, Elnur are established as one of the leading European providers of electric heating solutions. They even back this up with an impressive 5 year manufacturers warranty of these storage heaters.

Why choose electric storage heaters?
Storage heaters are one of the most popular forms of electric heating. Storage Heaters used to be seen as an expensive alternative to provide heat compared to other fuels. Not today - with energy costs soaring, storage heaters now provide a competitive source of controllable heat energy when compared to gas and oil alternatives.
Electric Storage heaters are designed specifically to operate using cheaper, off-peak electricity making them a very cost effective way of heating your property.
Storage heaters also allow for quick and easy installation (no pipes, boiler or flue).

Storage heaters are one of the most popular forms of electric heating, and because they use low cost 'off peak' electricity running costs are low. Storage heaters are also cheap and easy to install, requiring no pipework or flues. Storage heaters have no moving parts or internal combustion, are virtually maintenance free and do not require an annual safety check.
This depends on the individual energy suppliers and their charges for off peak energy, however it is a more cost effective method as ‘off peak’ energy is cheaper than peak / day rate..
Storage heaters work by taking an energy charge during off peak energy times - (usually overnight – although some energy suppliers offer a day-time boost). On all storage heaters you are able to control the input charge (the amount of heat stored) by using a simple control on the top of the heater. When your energy supplier makes the off peak energy available the storage heater will automatically start to charge, then, once it has taken either it’s full charge or the energy supplier stops the off-peak energy, the heater will release the heat gradually throughout the day. Please consult energy suppliers in your area for details on tariffs available.
Storage heaters are very easy to use, but it is important to remember that they operate differently from conventional wet radiator systems as they heat the fabric [the walls and furniture] of the building.
No, we do not advise the painting of our heaters.
The storage heaters have no moving parts or internal combustion so they are virtually maintenance free and do not require an annual safety check.
Our mini storage heaters SH6M are ideal in size and IPX2 [drip-proof] rated making them suitable for bathroom use, although the installing electrician must ensure its position within the bathroom complies with the IEE regulations. We do not recommend storage heaters for heavily tiled bathrooms as the tiles will prevent the walls from absorbing the storage heat.
No, you should never cover the surfaces of the heater or obstruct the air outlet grilles as this will cause temperatures of the product to rise and the safety cut-outs to operate.
Storage heaters are not designed for solely wall mounting, they require a combination of feet and secure wall fixings due to their weight.
