Description

This 16A hook up extension lead is made up of 2.5mm 3 core braided clear SY cable and includes a blue 16A 3 Pin IP44 plug and a blue 16A 3 Pin IP44 connector (socket).

All leads are made by qualified persons and are tested before despatch

These SY Cable extension leads are ideal for a whole host of applications including 240V tools, welders, generators, event production and lots more.

Due to the mechanical strength provided by their galvanized steel wire braid (GSWB), SY cables are widely used in industrial applications as interconnecting cables in control equipment or machines where they are subjected to medium mechanical stresses.

They can be used in flexible installations, where free movement is required without tensile stresses and without forced guidance systems. SY cables, also known as armoured flexible control cable or simply armoured flex, are strong and durable cables suitable for internal dry, damp or wet environments (including oil-water mixtures). Can be used outdoors when protected.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges start from Free Delivery depending on the products and delivery location. Our delivery charges are split into 4 tariffs – Free Delivery, Standard Delivery, Heavy Goods and Lamps & Bulbs.

The delivery charge for each product is shown on the individual product details page and again when the item is added to the basket. The delivery charge is a one off charge per order, regardless of the number of items ordered.

Need it Next Day?

We are able to offer next day delivery on this product. Simply choose the Next Day Delivery option during checkout and orders placed before 1 pm will be despatched on a next day delivery service. Even more than this, these will be sent on a timed delivery service which provides a precise 1-hour delivery window in which your goods will arrive at your door. Meaning that you don't have to stay in all day waiting for your delivery!

How it Works

Simply place your order online before 1 pm and choose the next day delivery service option during the checkout.

Your order will be despatched on a Next day delivery service for delivery to you on the next working day.

Working Days are as defined by our carriers - Monday to Friday. Orders received after 1 pm Friday, on Saturday & Sunday will be despatched on Monday.

On the morning of delivery, you will receive an email or text message informing you of your 1-hour delivery slot.

What about in my area?

Next day delivery is available to Mainland UK only excluding some parts of Highlands & Islands.

When you enter your postcode in the cart/checkout a list of available delivery options will be given.
